Fever

“Cool down” your body by putting a few drops of lavender essential oil on a damp, cool towel and gently rubbing your forehead, neck and upper body. Alternatively, if you want to “warm up” your body, add a few drops of lavender essential oil to a steam diffuser and spray.

It relaxes children

Help your little ones sleep well by putting a few drops of lavender essential oil in a diffuser. Then place the diffuser in their room and let them fall asleep. For personal hygiene

Acne

Help reduce acne by adding 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil to hot water. Then soak a clean towel in it, wring it out and place it over your face for 5 minutes. You can also treat individual spots by applying tea tree essential oil directly to the pimple or irritated area. The combination of lavender and tea tree helps swelling, inflammation or local infection (which can leave scars) to clear up. Repeat twice a day.

Hair strengthening

For strong, healthy hair, mix a few drops of lavender essential oil with a little water and gently massage your scalp. Alternatively, add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your favourite conditioner.

Exfoliation

Treat yourself to a lovely natural scrub with a little sugar, olive oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil, and feel your skin softer than ever.

Footbath

Enjoy total relaxation with a gentle foot massage in warm water with a few drops of lavender essential oil. The warm water gets the blood flowing in your feet and relieves pressure in your head.
