Our grandfather, Anastasis Papadopoulos, was born in 1930 in Mikromilia, Drama, and moved to Palaiokomi, Serres, at the age of 10. With a great passion for working the land, he devoted his life to farming, working tirelessly for more than 12 hours a day. Starting with just 2 stremmata (0.2 hectares), he managed to expand his farm to 3,000 stremmata (300 hectares), despite the hardships of an era without modern machinery and technology.
Grandpa Anastasis was a role model for us, passing on his love for the land from an early age. After he passed away at the age of 87, we took over the business, carrying on his legacy with the same dedication and passion.
We are Ioakeim and Tasos Papadopoulos, twin brothers born on 12 August 1997 in Palaiokomi, Serres, where we grew up and returned after our studies. Our love for organic farming led us to grow 120 stremmata (12 hectares) of organic lavender and to make natural cosmetics of excellent quality.
Ioakeim, passionate about the land since childhood, looks after all our crops, carrying on our grandfather’s tradition with the same care. Tasos looks after the quality of our products, with love and respect for nature and the environment.
Our names are Ioakim and Tasos Papadopoulos and we are two twin brothers born on August 12, 1997 in Paleokomi Serres, where we grew up and where we returned even after our studies.
Our love for organic farming is what prompted us to cultivate at the moment 120 acres of organic lavender and produce our own natural cosmetics of excellent quality.
Ioakim was the one who had a passion for the land from a young age and is now in charge of all our crops, continuing with the same passion as our grandfather.
Tasos takes care of the quality of the products, always with love and respect for nature, its goods and the environment.
Ennea Odoi (Nine Roads) lies at the foot of the gold-bearing Mount Pangaio, in the historic area of Amfipoli in Serres, where our business is based. Inspired by our homeland, we named our venture “Nine Roads”, honouring the land that generously gives us its gifts and reflecting who we are.
Every harvest from the fertile soil of Amfipoli gives us the unique Nine Roads organic lavender essential oil, the basis of our skincare range.
